History of the peoples of the Hungarian land from 400 000 BC to 804 AD

Our archaeological exhibition presents the history of the peoples inhabiting the territory of present Hungary from the prehistoric age to the conquest of Hungary. Utilitarian objects, jewellery, weapons, musical instruments and many other artefacts date from 400 000 BC to 804 AD and have been discovered in the past centuries through exciting excavations or by chance. Visitors can see relics from various periods in the following ten rooms.
