Museum rules
  • Use of the cloakroom is free of charge and mandatory.
Large bags, backpacks, and coats must be left in the cloakroom.
Entry to the exhibitions in wet clothing is not permitted.

  • Food and drinks are strictly prohibited in the exhibition areas.
If consumption is required for medical reasons, please inform a member of our staff.

  • Please refrain from loud talking or shouting.

  • Running in the museum is not permitted.

  • Do not touch the exhibits or display cases.
Many objects are displayed without barriers and are marked by a red frame on the floor or placed on a platform. These objects must not be touched.
Only specially marked replica objects intended for demonstration may be handled.
Please remind children of these rules.

  • Photography or video recording is permitted only with a valid photo ticket purchased at the ticket office.
The use of flash is strictly prohibited to protect the artworks.

Why do museums have strict rules? Explanation to children
Why shouldn't we touch the display case and the objects?

The natural oily layer on our hands leaves marks on display cases, and when it touches museum objects, it can cause permanent damage, such as metal rusting.
