The Central Archive of the Hungarian National Museum collects, preserves, and organises documents, analogue and digital photographs, and audiovisual materials produced by the National Museum over the course of its nearly 225-year history. As such, it constitutes an indispensable source base for research into Hungarian museology, archaeology, and museum history.
