On the anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence, a photo-panel exhibition titled We Came from America… will be on view in the Museum Garden.

The member institutions of the Hungarian National Museum are marking the 700th anniversary of the birth of King Louis I (the Great) of Hungary with a varied programme full of exciting events.

The first half of our historical exhibition presents the history of Hungary from the foundation of the state to the early 18th century.

The Seuso Treasure – The Light of Pannonia is an exhibition where some of the most precious artefacts of the late Roman imperial period are displayed in three elegant spaces. The imposing museum halls highlight the unique artistic value of the Seuso Treasure.
