Collective memory also forms a shared identity, often determining the scale of the community. But is there such a regional identity in Central Europe? Is it possible to build on this and create a Central European Museum? If so, how, where and in what form?
These questions were examined by Hungarian, Polish, Slovak and Czech experts. The institutions involved in the project also acted as liaisons and engaged in discussions with experts from their own countries at various levels of workshops.
The results of this small-scale but important project, supported by the Visegrad Fund, are available HERE.
