At the joint exhibition Duet: Music and Photography, organised by the Hungarian National Museum Public Collections Centre Hungarian National Museum and the House of Music Hungary, visitors have the chance to experience music through the lens of photography. The images vividly capture how music transforms various spaces, from the intimate setting of family members making music together at home to soundproofed studios, concert halls filled with rapt audiences, restaurants resonating with melodies from a virtuoso violinist, and public spaces under the open sky.

Artefact of the Month

The Artefact of the Month in October presents György Hevesy’s Nobel Prize in Chemistry and its diploma. The artefacts reflect the finissage of the joint exhibition of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences – celebrating its 200th anniversary this year – and the Hungarian National Museum, where Albert Szent-Györgyi’s and Katalin Karikó’s Nobel-price in Physiology or Medicine are also on display.
