About the Hungarian National Museum in the programme
The Hungarian National Museum has a broad experience in exhibiting, promoting and managing archaeological heritage from the Carpathian Basin. It also preserves, keeps and exhibits Early Iron Age objects from all the targeted Hungarian sites (Sopron and Süttő). By participating in the Iron-Age-Danube project, as partner will be able to expand their knowledge of the topics displayed in the museum and introduce new visitors programmes in its institution. The popularization of archaeological heritage in Hungary and the inclusion of the museum in the digital applications for visitors should have an impact also on visitor numbers and open new opportunities for new research and promotion projects.
