Due to the reconstruction of the Museum Garden, the gate on Bródy Sándor utca side is closed today and tomorrow (21-22 February). Visitors with limited mobility can enter the Museum building from the Múzeum körút on the left side by the large gate (Astoria side).

Due the national holiday on the 22th (Monday) and 23th (Tuesday) of October the museum is open.
On 22 October, the museum can be visited from 10:00 until 18:00 with the usual ticket prices.
On 23 October, exhibitions of the Hungarian National Museum can be visited for free, except the World Press Photo exhibition.
Roundtable Discussions
The upcoming conference will be dedicated to the national practices of historical memorialisation regarding Austria-Hungary. Our aim is to present the different ways national historiographies of the successor states have evaluated the period of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy.
