The “16th Century Genius Matrakçı Nasuh” exhibition, designed by İKASD İstanbul Intercultural Art Dialogues Association under the aegis of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, is being offered to the art-lovers in Budapest during November 23/December 28, 2017, as its tenth and final stop where Suleiman the Magnificent passed away, following Sarajevo, Belgrade, 2015 G20 Antalya summit, Istanbul, Wien, Tokyo, Paris Rome and Washington DC.

GRAMMAR AND GRACE – 500 years of Reformation, a large-scale exhibition by the Hungarian National Museum takes its visitors to a connecting exhibition of short films and photos to learn about fateful events of the 20th century and to understand their effects on the Protestant churches and their followers.
These short films were shot in the last couple of years. While watching them we can follow and understand the fates of some famous institutions, families and individuals from not only Hungary but the whole Carpathian Basin.

Historical relic of Józsa Oroszhegyi

Recently, a very precious historical relic enriched the Historical Treasures Collection of the National Museum. Descendants of the Szekely-born Józsa Oroszhegyi, one of the „March youths”, preserved a small wooden goblet Józsa had made during his years in prison.
