If your group plans to visit the exhibitions independently, advance booking is required only for groups of more than 100 persons.
Please register such visits at info@mnm.hu.

Before your visit, please ensure that all exhibitions you intend to see are open.

Guided tours may be conducted exclusively by the Museum’s trained staff.

As the Museum is a listed, heritage-protected building, accessibility for visitors with reduced mobility may be limited in certain areas. If your group includes visitors requiring assistance, we kindly ask you to consult the Accessibility section in advance.

The Hungarian National Museum preserves unique national treasures. We kindly ask all visitors to help protect these values by reviewing the Museum House Rules prior to their visit.

Ordering Guided Tours

  • Group size: 1 group (maximum 30 persons)
  • Duration: approximately 45–90 minutes, depending on the programme

Booking Procedure

Please submit your booking request preferably at least one month in advance.

A booking is considered valid only after written confirmation by email.
Only the prices, discounts, and conditions published on the website and confirmed by email are valid; verbal information cannot be accepted.

To make a reservation, please provide the following information by email:

  • Programme title
  • Language of the guided tour
  • Name of the client
  • Email address and telephone number of the group leader
  • Name of the institution
  • If an invoice is required:
    • billing name
    • billing address (and mailing address, if different)
    • tax number

Cancellation and Delays

Please notify us of any delay as soon as possible. Guided programmes can be guaranteed with a maximum delay of 20 minutes. In the event of a longer delay, the programme may be rescheduled or modified depending on availability.

In case of cancellation, please inform us by phone or email no later than 4:00 p.m. on the day preceding the programme.
