Within the framework of the Erasmus+ project titled PhotoKick, several project results have recently been achieved. The project focused on two areas, namely the creation of a guideline for organising educational photo exhibitions; and on the organisation of an international photo contest with the results displayed on the project website and in physical exhibitions at several locations.

Outdoor display
The photo contest drew wide interest and participation with 292 entries in the main category, "Sign of the Times," and 66 entries in the sub-category for AI-generated images titled "Imagined Cities." Images representing a diverse range of perspectives were submitted by participants from Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Slovenia, and Spain.

A selection of the winning photographs and AI images is on display until 15 January on the garden fence of the Hungarian National Museum, located in downtown Budapest. This presentation shown on ten panels is installed facing the street and can be viewed by anyone at any time, without having to purchase an admission fee to the museum.

Guideline
As part of the project, a guideline was formulated to aid those working in educational and cultural fields in creating future educational photo exhibitions. The guideline document is now available in all languages of the participating countries as well as in English on the project website at www.photokick.eu.

Workshop
As an integral part of the PhotoKick project, a workshop was held in the Library of the Hungarian National Museum on 18 November, 2023.

The full-day program organised by the curators of the Historical Photo Department and the andragogues of the museum, targeted professionals working in the field of education. Following a brief introduction to the history of photography, including the history of photo manipulation, examples of various analogue photo manipulation techniques were shown. Prompts and promptography were discussed in connection with ways in which they can be integrated into educational programmes, using, for example, AI in literature, history or geography classes. Guest speaker Réka Mihálka (ETH Zürich and Manuscript Manufacture, Oberrieden, Switzerland) gave an online presentation on the use of artificial intelligence in education through the example of a Kelemen Mikes ChatGPT simulator, largely developed by inputting letters written by the 18th century Hungarian author. A student of Budapest Metropolitan University, Ákos Levente Kondricz presented his work summarised in a fictional early 20th century photo album, largely created with the aid of AI. In the afternoon, participants, together with the project managers ofPhotoKick, could experiment with AI image generators.
