Due to the second wave of COVID-19 severe restrictions enter into force from November 11, 2020. The Hungarian National Museum and its affiliated institutions (the Semmelweis Museum and Archives of Medical History, the Esztergom Castle Museum, the Balassa Bálint Museum, the Babits Mihály Memorial House, the Rákóczi Museum of Sárospatak, the Mátyás Király Museum of Visegrád, the Vay Ádám Museum Collection of Vaja, the Báthori István Museum of Nyírbátor, the Palóc Museum of Balassagyarmat, the Villa Romana of Baláca – Roman villa and ruins – Archaeological collection of Vértesszőlős) will be closed because of the pandemic for one month, i.e. until December 10. Our audience will be informed on reopening in time.
