On 11 March 2020, the Hungarian government declared an emergency due to the coronavirus.

It is our common responsibility to slow down the spread of the epidemic by all available tools we do have. Due to the extraordinary situation, our programs till 15 April will be postponed for a later date. As we previously notified, the Hungarian National Museum is closed between 14-16 March 2020.
