Online catalogue for readers
We have started to build the online database of our library in April 2004. Currently we are working on the bibliographical data of the books and periodicals. Since the online database is not complete yet (it does not cover the whole stock of our library) some documents can only be searched for in the traditional way, via a card catalogue.

Catalogue of old and rare books
Old and rare books of our library can also be searched via the database of the Hungarian National Shared Catalogue – Old Prints (MOKKA-R).
On-site use
Our library is a publicly accessible scholarly library. All services are available to users aged 18 and over. Admission to the library is free of charge; however, registration is required.
For registration, please present one valid form of photo identification, such as: an ID card, a driving licence, a passport, or a student card.
Loans and booking in advance
Due to their unique nature, periodicals, reference works, and electronic documents cannot be borrowed. Printed monographs may be borrowed only for a limited period and in a restricted number of copies. For members of the public, it is possible to borrow up to two volumes (published after 1949) for a period of one month. During examination periods, loans are limited to one volume for one week, with one extension only. Advance booking of materials is available in the library
Information
Information and guidance are available on how to use library tools, search the database, and—most importantly—how to locate specific information and carry out individual research.
Internet access
Free access to computers and the Internet is available in the library.
