The conference addresses recent advances in Steppe archaeology and convenes distinguished specialists from Hungary and Central Asia.

Organised by the HNM-Public Collections Centre Hungarian National Museum and the Hungarian Turan Foundation

The main objective of the conference is to discuss a series of questions cantered around the Hunnic history and archaeology, anthropology, and archaeogenetics.

By inviting experts, the organisers aim at a better understanding towards the history of the Huns and the archaeology of the Steppe. The panels will allow the participating experts and the general public to compare different points of views, to raise questions and to establish new cooperation.
